In 2002, Johannesburg based poet, lyricist and actor Antonio David Lyons was launched into the music industry. His debut single, ‘Nite Fever’Nite Fever’ introduced Antonio’s distinctive styling of poetic house and smooth vocals to the SA music scene.. and the rest, as they say – is history.  What followed was many highly acclaimed singles and a phenomenal debut album ‘Human Jewels’. produced by Soul Khula (Craig Massive and Troye Liley) featuring vocals by Tamara Dey was snatched up by Metro FM’s DJ T-Boss. ‘

2010 sees  this multi-dimensional talent release his second album, ‘We Dance, We Pray’. The title track, My Africa, is a throbbing dancefloor groove with a killer bassline. The song features Refilwe Madumo who gives the track an extra sparkle. Antonio’s vocals ride the musical wave—broadcasting messages of truth and hope. The song captures love and pride for a continent coming into its own. Antonio has mastered the art of storytelling— and his creative lyrical skills are in high demand.

Luckily for all the producers out there, Soul Candi Records is giving you the chance to remix the first single AND, if your remix is selected— your track I’ll be signed and released digitally via Soul Candi Records!

Okay, so here’s the idea… We give out lovely little bits and pieces of one of the upcoming releases from local Superstar ‘Antonio Lyons‘. You then get the opportunity to remix them into something & then upload your handy work. We then pick our favorite remix for the track and release it digitally  across our global network of download sites. The top 2 mixes are guaranteed a deal!!!
