The excitement came crashing down as millions of South African’s were disappointed after Bafana were throttled 3-0 by group A leader’s Uruguay, and goal keeper Itumeleng Khune was handed a red card.
Today might be different – as Coach Carlos Albert Parreira is expected to make five changes to his starting 11 – with the exclusion of Khune comes in Moneeb Joseph while Kagiso Dikgacoi will miss this game because of his yellow card.
Reports claim Parreira will utilise Lamontville Golden Arrows midfielder Thanduyise Khuboni – while Mamelodi Sundowns player Surprise Moriri , Bernard Parker and Siyabonga Nomvete might finally get the opportunity to be in the starting line-up for the 2010 FIFA World Cup hosts.
It seems coach Parriera may also leave out Kaizer Chiefs player Reneilwe Letsolonyane and Everton award winner Steven Pienaar.
