The Y Academy is here!
The Y Academy is a 6 month internship programme that creates the future stars of SA radio! Participants learn about all the differentaspects of radio, such as sales and marketing, copy-writing, news, technical production, content production, and of course, being the
voice behind the mic! Graduates are given the opportunity to immerse themselves fully in the world of radio, and they leave with a solid
knowledge of the inner workings of the machine behind the station. Many Y Academy graduates have gone on to have successful
careers in radio and the media space, and there will be many more successful products to come!
