WTF?

There are some things in the world of fashion we can’t explain but people jump on them, granted. I have no misconceptions around the reality of fads in our existence. They come and go, and somewhere in between we try them out. Whether it’s something to be ashamed of or not is a whole other article for another day.

I will say this. There are some nonsensitites I refuse to jump on even if the Kardashians, Serena from Gossip Girls, Gaga or any other style icons do. I cannot deal. These are those fads you want to slap the owner who went out, thought about making this item, made it, and went on it SELL it to people. It’s not right.

If you need an explanation, here it is. It’s a necklace. The necklace is made out of a keyboard. It’s a keyboard necklace. Like a keyboard for a computer- yes that type of keyboard.

I must admit, there is something cute about these ones. If I must, that’s as far as I would be willing to try. For the sake of it. It would be for nothing more than simply liking things.

Anything further than this I refuse to go. It’s just silly in fact. But I will share the rest and let you decide.

If you’re wondering who wears these, I’d guess only the creator of the idea as well as her lame friends and morally obligated family. Even the one lady in this picture chooses not to be involved, for which I respect her. I understand moral support, but please do not make fools of those nearest and dearest to you by making them wear these when you know it’s stupid.

A friend of mine who makes me wear stupid things and look like an idiot is no friend of mine.

one response TO "WTF?"

fong says:

- I have to politely diraesge. I know that when I tell someone something looks great on them - like "Wow that color looks great on you, I wish I could pull it off" That's 100% genuine. Something can look absolutely great on someone else that would look horrible on you. For instance, my friend who is gorgeous and skinny wanted me to buy this baggy sweater that looked adorable on her. Unfortunately since I'm probably 50+ pounds heavier than her, I know it would look awful on me. Baggy shirts on skinny girls look great, but on me who is not skinny - I look like Im trying too hard to cover up my flub, and I look like a slob. Am I the only one who thinks this way?
