The Blazer has had its run in the fashion streets for a few seasons now. We saw it with the exaggerated shoulder, superlong, menswear-inspired and various other incarnations. It seems as though its going to be around again, this time though, in a printed variety. In the image below, designer names Balmain, print queen Mary Katrantzou and retailer Zara (inspired by Celine) all blessed us with their own version of this latest trend.
As we can expect, celebs started wearing the trend as soon as the runway models took it off their backs! Below we have Zoe Saldana in Balmain, Elle Fanning whom I’ve dubbed “The Coolest Teenager Alive” looking pensive in Marc Jacobs, and the uber-talented Esperanza Spalding collecting her Grammy in her Suno blazer.
So what do you think? Is this a trend you see yourself in?
