Last week we attended the Spring/Summer fashion show of one of the hottest (and most popular) boutiques in Jozi right now.  Besides the cute name “MSC”, which is short for “My Sister’s Closet”, they have a quirky yet accessible selection of clothing, something which is not easy to find from our often stale and outdated local retailers.

The London-bred co-owners, Louise and Sharna import some of their stuff from around the world, source some local vintage pieces and also stock items from their own label, MSC Unique.  Here’s a little of what we saw at the show…

Cute, youthful dresses that I can see the Yires rocking this  Spring…

…paired with yummy and oh-so-adorable Melissa shoes that I wanted to rip off the models’ feet!

We spotted the craziest-looking couple in town; comedian Tall Ass Mo and Mome from Cream Cartel….

…. and we also bumped into one of our own, YFM Dj and Tv presenter the Black Pearl. How awesome is her green leather jacket from Zara?? We love it!

MC for the night was Tumi Voster, who did a fantastic job of making the guests feel welcome.
