Warras Warras
DJ

Warrick Stock aka Warras was born in Durban and attended his primary school years there while staying with his grandmother. He is a sibling to one of the most focused women in business and has learnt a great deal from her about business relations while studying in the technology field.

He then moved to Jozi when he was a teenager and was able to adapt speaking Zulu with most of his “Kasie” boys and was given an opportunity by Vukile Zondi to become a Jock at YFM as he spotted talent in him during the year 2007. He started work as a Jock with the new line-up in April 2008 and has continued to grow even more in the music fraternity.

Precious Precious
Producer

Precious Kofi was born in the Eastern Cape and raised in Cape Town in a small location called Imizamo Yethu. She is a self-motivated, savvy young woman who fell in love with television at the age of 9 and has not looked back since.

START OF CAREER

Her rise through the industry has been steady yet consistent, first came the modeling in children’s catalogues, then the commercials, which included KFC and the ARA campaign. Followed by a lead on an independent South African film called DON’T TOUCH. In 2004 came the big break, in form of maths, science and technology program supported by the Shuttleworth foundation called HIP2B2. During that same year she landed cameo appearances on numerous local dramas: Madame and Eve, Interrogation Room and Going up Again.

Precious matriculated in 2005 from Camps Bay High School. At the age of 19 she created and presented a youth talk show called THE PRECIOUS SHOW, which established her in the industry as a smart and inspiring young woman. The program was on air for 1 year and was later appropriately renamed to KEEPING IT REAL WITH PRECIOUS. Her first year out of school was extremely busy as she worked on KEEPING IT REAL WITH PRECIOUS, showed her sense of humor on a game show called SUMMER GAMES and also began shooting a local drama called DIVERS DOWN.

MOVE TO JOHANNESBURG

In 2007 she decided to relocate to Johannesburg to seek bigger and more opportunities. During her first year in the ever so competitive Jozi, Precious starred in a prime time American television series, produced by Warner Bros, called LIFE IS WILD, which can be currently viewed on BBC and Hallmark. She was then approached by Urban Brew Studios and SABC 1, to present a fashion and music television show, sponsored by Edgars, called EMS VOL 1. In 2008 Precious started her motivational work with High School students with resulted into a bursary program that raised R500 000 to send the top students at Bona High School in Soweto to various higher learning institutions around the country. In the same year she co-founded Kofi Productions. In 2009 SABC commissioned her to produce a 14 part, 48min African documentary series called PRECIOUS AFRICA. In the same year Mail and Gaurdian named her one of the 300 young South Africans you must take to lunch. At the beginning of 2010 Precious Kofi became the youngest person to be appointed as the editor of the socio-political magazine Good Morning Mr President.

FUTURE AMBITIONS

Her dream is to see a rehabilitated continent that is fruitful and secure. It is through her company, Kofi Productions that she will make her dreams a reality: “Through the use of media, I aim to redefine our identity as a continent and hence re-affirming our place in the world, I pray that we rise as one because we are a capable people…God has not forgotten Africa!”

Africa is on the rise and Precious Kofi is on the front seat of that ride.
