Warrick Stock aka Warras was born in Durban and attended his primary school years there while staying with his grandmother. He then moved to Jozi when he was a teenager and quickly adapted to the fast-paced environment. He was given an opportunity by Vukile Zondi to become a jock at YFM as he spotted talent in him during the year 2007. He started work as a jock with the new line-up in April 2008 and has continued to grow even more in the music fraternity. Warras, also known as The Shady Lurker  is fast becoming one of the most popular personalities around, and is also taking over the club scene as a dj.
