Hailing from the streets of Pimville in Soweto, Linda Mbuso can be recognized as the epitome of the new-age Johannesburg youth. With music deeply woven into his being at an early age, Linda Mbuso took up the violin and later the drums. His introduction into radio occurred in his matric year at Holy Family College in Parktown, leading the pack by kickstarting the school’s radio station, which inevitably paved the way for his future aspirations. Whilst completing his tertiary education in Media studies, Linda Mbuso continued to plant his feet firmly in the media industry, spreading himself between a community radio station and a corporate marketing job. Linda Mbuso is one of the partners of Organic Soul, a high-end events lifestyle brand and also part of the HDI Youth Marketeers’ Junior Board of Directors. Currently completing his degree in Psychology at the University of Johannesburg, he is also an aspiring writer as part of the Kasi Times team.
