7 September 2010 @ 12:27

It is now exactly a year since 1000 soldiers were suspended for going on a strike last year - and while the SA National Defence force has reportedly spent up to R72m paying their salaries - the case is yet to be concluded.
News 24 reports the soldiers also received a 60% wage increase which sparked the strike  - and now the SA National Defence Force Union representing the 1000 soldiers decided to move the case the North Gauteng High Court and it will be heard on the 20th of November
Defence Force Spokesperson Siphiwe Dlamini says the soldiers are still on the pay roll since they were never fired.
