Nonqaba Nozuko Rwaxa Aka MsCosmo, born in Diepkloof Soweto, is a young, intellectual and gifted woman. As a young girl, she wanted to be a singer, but like the good girl she is, she diligently went through the schooling system, and later graduated with a BCom Finance and Investment Management degree with the University of Johannesburg in 2009.

But the Joburg pop culture drew her to the love of music and DJing. She enrolled at DJ Zihle’s FUSE Academy and with the further guidance of HipHop dj, DJ ZanD, she honed her skills on vinyl before advancing to CDJ’s.

She has travelled to countries such as New York and Miami. She has also played alongside DJs such as DJ Fresh, DJ Euphonik, Black Coffee, DJ Kent, DJ Mzi and DJ Dimplez at events such as Garden of Eden, All Love Sundays, La Dolce Vita Sundays, ICE Watch South Africa Launch, Next Aid Party in Miami, Florida during WMC 2011 and Trey Songz SA Tour Launch Party.

MsCosmo looks up to people like the Naked DJ and Vigilante, who both have exceptional talent yet great humility. Coupled with versatility and creativity, DJ Cosmo is the only female mix DJ on YTKO.

DJ and Entrepreneur Ashley Raphala aka DJ Shimza was born in Tembisa and grew up with the love of music particularly House Music.

He debut into the industry as a House music DJ began in 2003 where he won the Red Square DJ competition.

His success in the House Music Arena have been achieved by his appearances at the South African Music Conference’s DJ Spin offs Competition, VO National Betrams “the next big thing and the Gauteng Carnival DJ Competition.

DJ Shimza studied at Soul Candi Music and later formed his own production company, to assist and manage new and talented artists within South Africa, SHIMUZIC PRODUCTIONS.

Shimza has travelled in several countries. His latest achievements have include the releasing of two CD compilations “SA House Charts” and “The Next Big Thing”, hosting the annual “Dj Shimza’s One Man show 1,2 & 3” and further playing in concerts such as Spring Fiesta, Oh Ship and Yfm events alongside Fresh and Oskido. This young DJ is definitely set to become one of the greatest House DJs in this country.

Voted Best Hip-Hop Dj 2011/2012 on SA Dj Mag Poll, Zandi Ngwenya, aka DJ ZanD, was born in 1980. In 1989, when his father opened a night club called The Dukes Place in Vosloorus, music breathed life into Zandi and DJ Zan-D was born.

At the age of 12, he was already living the DJ experience by mixing on the streets of Johannesburg under his brother’s (Dj Choc) supervision. Towards the end of his school days, Zan-D was already featuring on radio, Street bashes, parties, weddings and even clubs. He further played in top clubs and events in London and various countries overseas.

Today, Catering to the three main facets of the music industry, Radio, Television and Live Performance, DJ Zan-D has proved to be one of South Africa’s most versatile and sought after DJ’s.

He’s featured as a mix DJ on Yfm’s The Essential Rush, Urban Express Show and Breakfast Show with Dineo Ranaka and JJ, Shiz Niz (e.tv), Yo tv, Selimathunzi and Vuzu Tv. His current commitements consist of Club 808, live performances and YTKO.

Josias Matsebatlela aka DJ JOSI CHAVE started dj-ing at the age of 14. After matric, he entered the world of broadcasting by completing a Broadcasting Diploma in Radio.

Influenced by the rapid growth of djs and music producers, he formed his record label in 2006 with the aim of assisting upcoming artists to release and popularize their music.

He released his first compilation in 2008 and again in 2009. His music production talents feature on various other compilations such as, House of Flava, Kasi Jams, Mixwell Fistaz and DJ Zinhle's Feminine Touch.

In 2010 he became an intern at YFM and worked in Y Mag Publishing, later that year. Over the years, he has shared the decks with prominent local and international djs and artists such as Black Coffee, Vinny Da Vinci, DJ Fresh, Euphonik, Roland Clark, Pastaboys and Die Antwoord.

With over 11 years in the music industry Josi Chave has achieved a lot in his music career.

Just Mo, born Moleke Sekukuni in Limpopo and raised in Johannesburg, is a house music legend in the making. Amongst his peers, he is pepped to be the one well on his way to filling the shoes of the house greats before him.

He was mentored by the legendary, DJ Oskido and his love of music runs deep, evidenced by the fact that he discovers and nurtures talent in his multiple roles as Senior Music Compiler at YFM and Host of The Hot 99 Dance chart every Friday from 9am-10am and again from 9pm-10pm. He also co-hosts on The Warehouse every Saturday between 3pm-6pm.

A graduate of Y Academy, Just Mo is also a house music producer and Club DJ, whose style focuses on a selection of Deep and Soulful house music that he best describes as “body and soul grooves”.
